Shhh, Sleeping Baby

We have really been blessed. Ever since Wyatt was about three months old, he has been sleeping 10-12 hours a night, including naps! Its heavenly. But, it's already apparent, as Barry would say, that he sleeps like his Mommy; kinda crazy and all over the place. In fact, the last three nights in a row he did a full 180 during the night. Here are a few pictures.

New Friends

Wyatt and I had a happy hour at a new friends house last week. It was at a house of two 5 month old twin girls and then there was also a 6 month old girl there too. Wyatt was the young stud of the group.

He was mesmerized by the fountain they had in their yard. I think we need to invest in one of these! :)

This is Erinn, mom of the twin girls and then her husband is holding one of them as well. The other picture is of the father of the 6 month old girl. They hope to be good friends since they'll all be in school together some day!

4 Months Old

Wyatt turned 4 months old on the 3rd of September. And he had his 4-month check up the other day and is now weighing 14.4 lbs the 35th percentile, 24.5 inches long the 44th percentile and I don't remember what this head circumference was but true to the Danks family its in the 55th percentile! We have a healthy little boy; we feel truly blessed!

Play time

Wyatt is getting to be so much fun, he's becoming so much more responsive to us and things around him. He's talking more, smiling and reaching for toys. he LOVES it when we hold him up so he can stand. He's getting to be a tall little man!

Dad's his Co-Pilot

Memorable times with Dad as he returns home from work.

First night at a hotel

A couple of weekends ago, Wyatt and I joined LaLa (Laurie, my mother-in-law) and Aunt Katy in Cherry Creek, Denver to help with some wedding dress shopping. It was that weekend that Wyatt spent his first night in a hotel! I think he enjoyed it...but you can decide for yourself.

Bath time at the JW Marriott. ;)

Firsts!

Wyatt's first time at the Aurora Reservoir. He didn't mind the way the sand felt in between his toes! :)

First pair of SHOES!!! Checking them out and getting used to standing in them

"Wait, this feels weird...what's on my feet!?"

First e-mail sent to Auntie Em.

First park play date. Wyatt found it most comfortable relaxing on the park bench watching the kids run through the water fountains that popped up.

First grasp of a toy and one day he just upped and decided to twist his body and put his feet up on his play gym. I think he's starting to notice his feet more. But he hasn't started grabbing at them yet. Very soon!
